In August 1995, I traveled through Malaysian Borneo (Sarawak and Sabah) to smell the air of the rainforest. It was not an organized journey, we had only our backpacks and a whole lot of courage, optimism and questions. Were we really going to meet some of the primitive tribes deep in this green paradise ?
