- In bigger cities as Kota Kinabalu, it's possible to collect money from an automaton by
using credit cards (Visa, MasterCard,...)
- A visa is not necessary for a maximum stay of three months.
- Domestic flights : Kota Kinabalu - Miri : 95 RM, Miri - Bario : 70 RM, Ba Kelalan -
Lawas : 46 RM.
- Accommodation in cheaper hotels and guesthouses.
- Health : Malaria prevention : Lariam
tablets, good insect repellents and mosquito net. Injections for
Hepatitis, Typhus, Polio, Tetanus.
Wound disinfectants and waterproof bandages.
